Bonnie Mandarich took the stage and bravely told the crowd about her battle with lung cancer. “My husband and I have supported National Jewish Health for a long time,” she said. “It was now time for them to support me.”

Turns out there’s no better place to go in such a situation, and the experts at NJH were able to find and address her condition in the early stages–twice. Bonnie is now cancer-free and like so many other people, owes her life to National Jewish Health.

To celebrate and support NJH, hundreds of well-heeled guests joined Bonnie and David at the “Rev the Runway” fashion show event Thursday night at Mercedes-Benz of Denver. Fashions from Neiman Marcus were showcased, along with unique auction packages, as guests were welcomed by event chairs Steeter McClure, Libby Weaver and Molly Fortune.  Add emcee duties by Dominic Garcia of CBS4, a few words by honorary chair Robin Chotin, and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres offered by some of Denver’s best restaurants, and you have a lively and memorable program.
