Think about your favorite road trip. Fun, right? If you’re looking for similarities, attend Rev the Runway. Organizers put together all the elements of a memorable drive, make them best-of-the-best and transform everything into a first-class event to benefit National Jewish Health. Your car? Mercedes-Benz, of course. Snacks and sweets? Stations full of tidbits from Denver’s tastiest eateries, along with fine wine, a whiskey tasting and mixed drinks–in moderation, of course. Add a Tom Ford lip bar and plentiful silent auction. For beautiful scenery, a revved-up Neiman-Marcus fashion show. No sweats and comfy clothes for these travelers (aka, guests). Everyone dresses to impress, ready to enjoy the ride. Not into the road trip metaphor? Either way, this is a great fashion-forward event.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, more than 400 NJH supporters convened at Mercedes-Benz of Denver for the third annual fundraiser. The evening began with a cocktail reception and silent auction before guests adjourned to the runway area. Emcee Lauren Whitney, of CBS4, introduced an informational video before event chairs Goldie Cohen, Faye Demby and Susan Noble took the stage. Honorary chair Arlene Hirschfeld spoke to the crowd as well, and guests were recognized for best-dressed awards. Energetic Halie Behr led a spirited live auction, and the bold, trend-focused fashion extravaganza featured designers from New York, London, Paris and Milan with looks from Burberry, Brunello Cucinelli, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta and more. The colorful show inspired attention, applause, and lots and lots of phone photos and videos.
