The Aspen Art Museum’s annual winter benefit, Slopeside Soirée, brought heat to the heart of winter on Saturday, February 14. Trading its typical festive season slot for a new mid-winter date, the Valentine’s evening celebration was a successful move on the calendar. Guests arrived in stylish attire for the rooftop event, buzzing with more than 300 art enthusiasts who gathered to support the Museum’s year-round exhibitions and educational programming.

The intimate, boudoir-inspired, winter wonderland began with a set from New York–based DJ and producer Dylan Rhee. Guests leaned into the scene, fueled by a steady flow of champagne, cocktails, caviar, and Valentine’s-themed sweets.

The night reached a fever pitch with a headlining set from Chromeo, Patrick Gemayel and David Macklovitch, the legendary Montreal duo known for pioneering the 80s-tinged electrofunk sound.

This year’s event was co-chaired by Lauren Allday, Elizabeth Chung, Kelcee Corwin, Alexander Hankin, Makenzie Moon Phelan, and Ernie Poma. The Host Committee included Isabel Adolf, Wyatt Bellotti, Hannah Bernstein, James H. Brooke, Maya Fuchs-Bortolami, Jayma Cardoso, Ramiro Garcia, Katherine Levy, Brooks Marks, Chloe Marks, Quinn Martinelli, Walker Moriarty, Fraser Olender, Oyin Olowokere, Jennifer Burkitt Peluso, and Julian Polak. Among the crowd of distinguished supporters, notable attendees included Isabelle Trapnell Marino and Brooks Marks.

Slopeside Soirée 2026 was made possible with the generous support of CADAR Fine Jewelry. Additional support came from Veuve Clicquot, Kemo Sabe, Velour Medical, Meredith Marks Caviar, LALO Spirits, and Woody Creek Distillers. Desserts were graciously donated by Rayo Events, while Marianne and Bill Powers generously provided the wine. Entertainment was underwritten by Deborah and Daniel Glass.

Most importantly, the funds raised through ticket sales and sponsorships ensure the Aspen Art Museum remains free and open to the public, sustaining the bold contemporary art and transformative community programming that makes it such a vital part of Aspen.
